Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS
The FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS is a super-telephoto zoom lens designed by Sony for full-frame mirrorless cameras. A favorite among wildlife photographers, its versatile range allows shooting both larger animals at 200mm and distant subjects at 600mm without disturbing them. The weather-sealed, internally-zooming design excels in harsh conditions, while its relatively light 2115g weight enables long field sessions. With fast autofocus and effective stabilization, it's particularly suited for capturing wildlife during prime dawn/dusk hours, with the 11-blade aperture producing pleasing background separation.
This is an incredible lens for the price. It's much cheaper and faster than it's Canon equivalent. It's also light for what it is. Focus is fast, but not as good as a fancy prime. It's not the sharpest lens, especially at 600mm, but it is plenty sharp enough. It's only really when conditions are tricky that you start to notice. At f8 it's much sharper than at f6.3 but it's not every day that there's enough light for that. Overall it's one of the best zooms on the market for what it does, and at the price it's a real bargain.
